Hi,
when I put my iPhone 11 in silent mode with the button on the left, I still get called with a ringer, even from unknown contacts. It’s like it’s not working, but when I turn it on or off the pop-up shows on the screen what mode I am in so it’s not that the button is not working, its more like a software problem cause there is no difference on or off.

If the device is not going into silent mode when you push the switch towards the back, we'd recommend restarting and making sure the software is up to date.
