Restoring New Mac from iCloud Data
My Mac literally died and we cannot get the hard drive to respond. How can I restore my new Mac to the settings and info in the iCloud without doing it manually, one file at a time?
MacBook Air (2020 or later)

iCloud will only have at best, the contents of your iCloud Drive folder and if enabled, your Desktop and Documents folders.
It is not a disaster recovery option like Time Machine is.
You must reinstall macOS before you can resync iCloud data.

OMG!! I cannot thank you enough. This solved my issue. Now all I have to do is reset my screen saver and it is like I am back up and working. I could not imagine having to move my entire business over one document/file at a time. Thank you!!!
