I cannot access Oracle since I upgraded to Big Sur.

I get an error that says Java Application Launch failed. Unrecognized file type: /Users/<me>/Downloads/frmservlet

Can somebody help me? I'm a relatively new Mac user and I use Oracle every single day at work. I would back out Big Sur if I could.

Initially I had JRE only... then I took everything off and installed both JRE and JDK.... then I took those off and went back to JRE (following ALLLLL the suggestions I found while I was googling...). So should I take the JRE off and go back to JDK? I don't think it's going to work anyway because apparently java web start is gone and there is now nothing that recognized the jnlp files, which Oracle forms is full of. I did try to use the open source version of java web start and it SORT of worked... Oracle Forms opened but then immediately closed.

Bottom line, I can't do my work now that I've upgraded to Big Sur and I'd really love a way to go back to Catalina without resetting my machine to its initial state. I did find a website that said I could do that but I haven't quite reached that level of desperation yet...
