Gmail Texts Messages Full of Random Letters and Numbers
A couple times each month, I will randomly get a gmail text message that I don’t recognize. The gmail itself can range from a normal name to just random letters or numbers bunched together. Each time this happens it’s a different gmail account from the last one.
The text itself is full of complete gibberish. It is just a bunch of letters, numbers, and symbols. Sometimes the gibberish will make a link in the middle of it. Something short that makes no sense. Most of the time the link just looks like it became a one because of the random letters, numbers, and symbols being ordered just right to make it a link. It’s really weird.
The gmail text I got just now doesn’t have a link to click. Don’t worry, I have never clicked on a single link from these things. But usually there is that little segment in the line of gibberish that is blue, that indicates that it’s a link you can click on.
Whenever I try to look up and see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing, I never find anything like this. I never interact with these messages at all. I block the gmail immediately. And none of my gmail email accounts seem to be having any trouble. This has been going on for a while. I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this, and why are these happening? What is it supposed to mean or do? And how can I stop it for good? It’s kinda creepy.
For a quick example, I will just type out the text I just got, including what the gmail looked like. I will change some letters and numbers to make sure I don’t potentially create a threat or a link, and so I don’t actually type an email address. Again, usually there will be some kind of link to click, but this time the text I just got didn’t have one. All the texts are different, they aren’t the same exact thing. But they all are full of random letters, numbers, and symbols. So for an example, a gmail and text could look like:

And that’s it. Sometimes the message will be much longer. This time I got a pretty short message. They never send anything else or anything. What’s going on? Help!
