Does Apple charge a separate fee if you buy "help" on the games you play.

I have apple charges appearing on my bank account. I only play Scrabble and Spades on this

device, and I do buy "help" in those games. Am I being charged an additional apple fee for doing

that?

If you purchase something for $4.99 through an in-app purchase, that is what you are charged.


The fee that Apple collects for themselves is embedded within that $4.99 charge.


This works akin to the European VAT tax (embedded into purchase) than the inexplicably convoluted US sales tax system (added onto the purchase price).
