moving files

It seems that the new Big Sur dropped the ability to have two finder windows open, which made moving files from one folder to another easy. I cannot figure out how to do that without wasting a lot of time. I have a boatload of scanned documents that I want to file quickly. Help please!!!

You can have as many windows as you like. Command-N opens a new window.

When you open a folder, it usually will open in the same window, but you can choose to open in another window or tab.

In this regard everything works exactly the same as it has for many years.
