Screenshot thumbnail no longer appears

Just this week when I take screenshots using my iPhone XR, the thumbnail that used to appear no longer does. The photo is immediately saved into my photo gallery and I don’t have the option to decide to send it somewhere, or delete it. How can I get the thumbnail preview back?

We understand you aren't seeing the preview for a screenshot you take on your iPhone XR, and we'd like to see if we can assist.

Do you notice this happening with screenshots you take in every app, as well as on the Home Screen?

Also, restart your iPhone, and test again.
