Random Time & Date on any and all Wallpapers

iPhone 12 Pro Max

I am attempting to change the wallpaper photo for the lock screen. A random date and time is applied to any image before or after setting it. This happens on my own photos and pre-installed Apple wallpapers. When set, the lock screen now has two conflicting date/times...the the real time/date superimposed over the random, unwanted one. So weird. FYI, I'm an experienced user. I have already Reset all possibilities. What's happening and how can I fix? Thanks in advance for any responses!

Hi CKW27,

We'd like to make sure we're on the same page.

When attempting to set a new wallpaper on your iPhone, after setting it, it displays a static date and time superimposed under the actual date and time?

To aid us in isolating this issue, can you clarify the specific steps you've taken so far? Additionally, are there any Accessibility options toggled on that modify the display or text size on your iPhone? You can check under Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.

Let us know and we'll continue from there.

Cheers!
