Viruses

i got a pop up on the internet telling me id had viruses on my phone and to download an app to remove them, when i do so i realised the app charges and im unaware of if this is a scam or if my phone genuinely has viruses, what do i do?

It is a Phishing Scam. Unless you jailbroke your iPhone, there are NO KNOWN viruses for iPhone. Do not give these bad people any information, especially about your account or your credit card. They are only out to take advantage of you.
