Can't preview Fuji RAF files! why?
I still can't preview the RAF raw files generated by my fuji X-T4 camera (should be the same format as the x-t3) and it's uncompressed!
MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 10.15

does not work for X-Pro3 and GFX 100 either. And the XMP Sidecars have invisible thumbnails. It's a pain.....

The X-T4 Raw file is still not supported, but if you can connect your X-T4 directly to your device via USB-C you should be able to see your raw files via Lightrooms import module. This works on my iPad Pro anyway.
Thanks to all answers so far.. I will reply here for everyone
Yes, I am working with Capture One mainly side by side with adobe's stuff.. but the idea is obviously to preview the series to preselect the shoots before importing them.. I mean this is 101 basics
I shoot both SOOC and RAW.. But it's a pain, really, indeed and a shame actually, as I'm a mac user since 2000!
Such a loss of time :)
One of the things that defines a new Model of a camera is a new version of the Raw. So, it's not the same format as the x-t3. The x-T4 is not supported at this time.
Even if Apple does eventually provide camera RAW support for the Fuji X-T4 camera on Big Sur, or a future operating system, they do not make that support retroactive to prior operating systems.
Of course, for that to work you need to pay the annual subscription for Lightroom...
