Hi. I have all camera „preserve Settings“ off with the expectation that Live Photo is by default always on but sometimes if I disable by mistake it doesn’t turn on next time. I seem to be able to simulate if I disable Live Photo and force close the camera app, when I start it again it is still off. Is this an issue or I am doing something wrong?

Thanks for replying. We did some testing on this. We toggled our settings to match your screenshot, then opened the Camera app and toggled Live Photos to off and then force-quit the camera app. Then when re-opening, Live Photos was still off. If you're seeing inconsistent results with this, based on the steps you've tried so far, we recommend getting in touch with Apple directly by using this link: Contact Apple Support

For clarification, are you saying that you have the "Live Photo" setting off, but you find that Live Photo is sometimes turned off when you open the Camera app; is that right?
We noticed you have "Camera Mode" turned off. Does enabling that and testing make a difference?
Since you noticed this issue, have you restarted your iPhone and tested again to see if you can replicate it? Restart your iPhone
Also, which iOS version are you using under Settings > General > About?

Yes, you understood correctly. The preserve settings for Live Photo’s is off and if i disable live fotos by mistake and fresh open the camera app, the live fotos setting is not by default on.
open camera app > disable Live Photo’s in camera app > force close app > open camera app > Live Photo is off
I have the latest software 14.4.1 and restart doesn’t help.
Updated but is the same behavior. It doesn’t automatically turn on Live Photo’s. Can you confirm that Live Photo’s are on after a force close with the preserve settings all of?
How do I force live fotos to be on even if I by mistake turn it off? Weren’t this setting suppose to do it?
