Homepod mini -- spotify integration?

My stereo supports Spotify Connect. Can I use homepod mini to control it?

E.g., "Hey Siri, use Spotify to play Tiesto on Living Room Stereo"

Could I do that with Apple music?

Is it possible to play different songs on a HomePod and a HomePod mini at the same time with a single Apple Music account? I have a HomePod set up in my office and a HomePod mini outdoors; I tried playing one song in HomePod and simultaneously wanted to play a different song in HomePod mini requesting Siri to do so from my Apple Music account. The office's HomePod paused when starting to play in the outdoor's mini, WHY? Could it be that it's the same Apple Music account? Tried to play HomePod with Apple Music and airplayed Spotify to the mini and this WAS possible, but I would like to play both HomePods on different locations with different songs at the same time directly from Apple Music. How can I make this possible?

Spotify on HomePod So I found out today that Apple secretly added third party music support to the HomePods. I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to switch the music service on my homepod. I checked under the media section in my Home Settings in the Home app but it only lists Apple Music. Am I missing something or is it not available yet?

Spotify support is supposed to be coming to HomePod, but I don't think it is there yet. If you have Apple Music then you should be able to use HomePod to control all AirPlay 2 compatible speakers.
