Locked out of apps

I recently updated my operating system to Big Sur 11.2.3. (Not sure if that matters). I can't access several apps I previously was using. It says I don't have the authority to open them but I am the only administrator on my computer. How do I fix this?

Hello Redrita45! Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that after updating your Mac to the latest macOS update, you're unable to use apps that you were previously able to. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.

To start, let's make sure your apps are up to date: Use the App Store to update apps on Mac

If they're up to date, you'll want to make sure the apps are compatible with macOS Big Sur: 32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later

Make it a great day!
