Why do live photos lose the effect ehen syncing back to device with finder? I do not want to use icloud for my photos.

Is there a way to sync live photos back to iPhone without using icloud?

You can sync pictures to an iPhone with these steps:


  1. Connect your device to the computer.
  2. In the Finder on your Mac, select the device in the Finder sidebar.
  3. Select Photos in the button bar.
  4. Select “Sync Photos to your device from” checkbox, then choose Photos, Pictures, or a folder from the pop-up menu.
  5. Then choose the pictures or folders you'd like to sync to the iPhone.
