Im so disappointed finding this issue in a big phone such as iphone 12 pro max .. i have replace the phone for camera green dot and apple logo flashes at start up and touch screen, and i have found all the mentioned issues in the new phone as well, shall wait for the update or i ask apple for a refund. ?
The green dot is cased by a phenomenon called lens flare. It's caused by light reflecting off the lens. This happens in all cameras, not just iPhones. A software update cannot fix this.

Simple. Do not take photos into direct sunlight. That rule has been around for over 100 years.
Regarding the flash on boot up:
sir im not talking about the green/orange dot which appears on the top when you open the camera app, you missunderstand me , im talking about the green dot which appears while recording a video or taking a picture
Only Apple knows, they don’t tell us.
Its so annoying especially when i take a video and or photo and i see double subject on the screen (when there is light on in the room or in sunset/sunshine )/
also I’m suffering from screen touch issues its almost frozen when i press on something there is no response / the other issues is when i start the phone the apple logo blink so briefly less than a second then black screen comes for 10 secs before the apple logo comes straight !
