Exchange password incorrect

Apparently this is an old issue - but I just got a new iPhone 12, is this still a problem??? This is not a good week for me to delete both my email apps. I too don't know where this came from, nor any idea what the password (if there ever was one) might be. It would seem only logical that it would offer a "Forgot password" option.

Anyone else have any idea?

How to remove an incorrect email My iPhone somehow has an incorrect email in its system, it’s a slight variation of my correct email that I’ve had for more than 15 years. I keep getting a message to verify my email. When I try to do that it requests me to enter the password for the incorrect email, which I can’t do. If I select “forgot password” it wants to send a link to the incorrect email which of course I can’t access. I’ve been trying to resolve this for about 3 years-(which is how long I’ve had the iPhone). Does anyone have a suggestion on how to remove this incorrect email address. Thanks
