Call cuts off

When I call someone and they answer, call cuts off and when I call again it goes through ok

iPhone 7, iOS 14

PLEASE HELP...CALLS NOT BEING COMPLETED call comes through but on the caller's end it rings for a while then says the number can not be reached or its disconnected. this happens when i miss a call and the caller can not leave a voicemail message.
