I accidentally click on the override option to charge my Iphone. How can i now check if its switched off or not so that I can be sure that my iphone is safe

I accidentally clicked on the emergency override button and now after leaving it for 30 minutes, no such warning is showing. So I just want to know that is my iphone dry or it is not showing because of the emergency override. I want to switch it off. Kindly help urgently

Hi there tanveer228,

Thanks for joining us in Apple Support Communities! We understand you saw a liquid-detection alert on your iPhone and you chose the option to override it in order to charge your iPhone. We're glad you're here, and we can provide some clarity.

"If you see the alert again, there is still liquid in the Lightning port or under the pins of your Lightning cable. Leave your iPhone in a dry area with some airflow for up to a day. You can try again to charge or connect a Lightning accessory throughout this period. It might take up to 24 hours to fully dry." Have a look at the related article linked in blue at the top left corner of this page to learn more.

Keeping that in mind, if you haven't seen the alert appear again, it indicates your iPhone no longer detects liquid.

With that said, are you able to charge your iPhone without any issues? Does there appear to be any indication that it's wet or not functioning in any way? You'll want to be sure you followed all the steps in the 'If your iPhone or Lightning accessory is wet' section of the related article above.

Take care.
