MacBook stuck on apple logo without any loading bar

Hi

I was hard resetting my MacBook Pro 15” 2019 on Big Sur from the recovery menu.


I selected the Mackintosh HD and clicked Erase and then APFS and then Erase Volume Group.


It got stuck for a long time, so I googled it and exit it and tried doing it again but I faced the same issue at the same point again this time and I closed it again and tried to start it again but this time it was stuck on the boot screen with just the apple logo and nothing else. I tried command + R several times but still, nothing happened.


I've tried many things and many key combinations but still, I'm stuck there only can't go anywhere as the laptop is not starting and stuck there. I, again and again, try to restart it by holding the power button and trying different key combinations but still no luck.


Please, help.

Hey,


The disk partitioning might not have been executed properly.


  • Unplug all USB and other devices and plug in your MacBook.
  • On startup, press the "Option" key. You should see a loading symbol, then after a while, it should show the available disks. If there are two or more, select the first one, and then try booting. If it's stuck, then shut-off your Mac, wait for ten seconds, then start it again while holding the "Option" key. Select the second one and try booting. If it doesn't boot on the second one either, then skip to the next step. If you have only only option, then skip to the next step.


Boot into Safe Mode to try and fix the problem.


  • Turn on your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key as your Mac starts up.
  • Release the key when you see the login window, then log in to your Mac.
  • You might be asked to log in again. On either the first or second login window, you should see ”Safe Boot” in the upper-right corner of the window.
  • You are now in Safe Mode. Open Disk Utility, and then select your main disk. It should be called "Macintosh HD" or something similar.
  • Press the "First Aid" button in the menu bar to try and fix drive errors.


Try restarting the PRAM and the NVRAM


  • Shut down your Mac, then turn it on and immediately press and hold these four keys together: Option, Command, P, and R. You can release the keys after about 20 seconds, during which your Mac might appear to restart. Release the keys when you hear the startup sound.


Reset the SMC controller to resolve power issues.



  1. On your built-in keyboard, press and hold all of these keys:
    • Shift  on the left side of your keyboard
    • Control  on the left side of your keyboard
    • Option (Alt)  on the left side of your keyboard
  1. While holding all three keys, press and hold the power button as well.



  • Shut down your Mac.
  • On your built-in keyboard, press and hold all of these keys:

Shift  on the left side of your keyboard

Control  on the left side of your keyboard

Option (Alt)  on the left side of your keyboard

  • While holding all three keys, press and hold the power button as well.

thank you so much vivek, but I’m not getting loading circle when I press option while booting, tried it several times. Still no luck🙁


and I’m stuck here after every single try.


the problem is that I am not getting any response after pressung option or just by starting it is just stuck on apple logo, not going to safe mode, not to recovery mode and not anywhere else.

You can run Mac built-in diagnostics. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202731 to check if all is right with your Mac. You can post the results here.


After that, all I can suggest is to make the Mac Internet Recovery. You can also contact Apple Support at https://support.apple.com/en-in/contact.

Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection. As you have a 2019 Mac, I don't think you have an ethernet port. If you do have an ethernet dongle, try using that. Other than that, I don't think there should be a problem. Contact Apple Support to diagnose the issue.
