Why is my Macbook Pro turning off on standby?

Mid 2012 MBP (bought 2016) in otherwise excellent shape.

Upgraded to 16GB RAM and SSD.

Battery reached the state where Etrecheck advised replacement I replaced the battery with one from apparently the same manufacturer as the original, Simplo.

Performance is excellent except for one thing I cannot explain.

Unlike with the old battery, if I close the lid on standby on 100% charge and disconnect the magsafe charge cable, sometimes in the morning the MBP has powered itself off.

Battery is still around 97% charged.

I have reset PRAM/NVRAM and SMC

I have attached Coconut battery readout and Etrecheck report.

The minor issues I believe are caused by Aperture/Retroactive and Canon print software

Is there a power save setting I have overlooked that reset itself on changing the battery maybe?

Thanks for replying

Is that what used to be called mode 25 Hibernate or something? I haven’t used that since before I took out the spinny disk and it shows thr normsl pulsing white LED in the front.

No amount of hitting keys will start it up gain until I press power, then it goes through what appears to be a normal boot.

(omitted to say I did a Safe Boot af part of diagnosis)

It appears to be a consequence of the battery change, or an immediate coincidence.

It isn’t the first time I unplugged the battery.

Yep tried that some years back but the time difference between fresh boot and un-hibernate on spinny disk was minimal. Boot from SSD in 30 secs on this old crate means hibernate is not really needed.

I really shouldn’t sleep it off charge overnight anyway, pointless with that boot speed, but just wondered if there is a maximum sleep time setting I didn’t know about.
