Limiting Total Screentime for kids

Is there a way to limit total screen time. I know you can limit the amount of time per app, but I would like to give my kids more flexibility with their choices on their device and don't want to set a limit for each app or even category of app separately. In other words, can you set it for a limit for all apps combined per day?
