I'm trying to restrict screentime but the built in Screentime for parental control appears to be only capable of limiting screentime per app basis. So if I restrict time on various apps, my son just launches another app (game). Is there a way to restrict screen time for all apps to say 2 hours as a whole (an not individual app basis)?

I am using parental controls but there is no setting to set time limit for all apps. The setting is on individual apps which makes it useless because kids can keep playing different game’s endlessly switching when they his their set limit on each app

Well, I don't use parental controls, but I was of the understanding that you can shut everything down at a certain point. You will probably need to reach out to Apple for more assistance.
