iPhone XR sound volume very poor. Very hard to hear callers voice in phone call.

I bought iPhone XR on 04.20.21 from apple store. When came out of the store and received a phone call it’s hard to hear the caller voice. I tried to increase sound volume-reset, Face ID and passcode and tried every attempt but nothing happen. I check comments and YouTube to fix it and follow them but I am still unable to hear callers voice clearly. Is iPhone XR totally failed in voice matters? Is there any way out to fix it

Hi rajendra294,

We understand you're having some issues hearing the other person on phone calls. We can certainly understand the need for your calls to have clear audio, and we'd like to assist.

Have you been able to try testing out a FaceTime audio call, instead of a cellular phone call? This can help to rule out things like the carrier's network. If needed, this page can help with setting up the call: Make and receive FaceTime calls on iPhone

If things work fine on the FaceTime audio call, we'd advise following up with your mobile carrier.

Try to also use the speakerphone option while on a call, to see if that improves anything, which will help isolate it down further.

Also, check to see if you have Voice over LTE enabled at Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options. If this is on, try to temporarily disable it, and see if that helps out. In order to disable VoLTE, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Enable LTE and tap Data Only.

Take care.
