USPS delivery scam and weird email; am I compromised?

I fell for one of those USPS delivery text scams -- I was expecting a package and mindlessly clicked on the link in the text. It took me to an Amazon survey page, which I recognized as a scam, exited out of, and deleted the text.

I didn't think much of it, but later that evening I got one of those scam emails with my full name in the subject line, that included the sentence "I recommend u to be more attentive when u visit insecure web-sites, someone anytime can gain full access to ur device." I wouldn't have thought much of the email on its own, but the combination of the two freaked me out. Is this a freaky coincidence or could I be compromised?

I cleared the cookies and website data on my phone, but am not sure what else I should do. Also worried because my phone is linked to other stuff through iCloud.

Do not worry. It is not possible for others to access your device unless your phone is jailbroken.

It's good you deleted your internet history. It probably does not matter, but for good measure, go to:

Settings -> General -> Profiles

If you can see Profiles, look in - if there is something you do not know, delete it.

If you do not see the Profiles menu, then there are no profiles installed.

You can read more about profiles here:

You do not need to worry any further.
