As long as we don’t have content yet that makes use of the extra HDMI bandwidth available, then any 18 Gbps certified HDMI cable will suffice. As long as you other equipment uses HDMI 2.0 ports, then any 18 Gbps certified HDMI cable will suffice. To utilize the bandwidth possibilities of the new HDMI 2.1 port, use a 48 Gbps certified HDMI cable, if you connect it to other equipment that also has HDMI 2.1 ports (all equipment: TV and receiver). The ‘lowest’ component (port or cable) sets the bandwidth limit.
