I simply want to keep both parts of a recording that I have trimmed. All of the support articles about editing a recording say that the deleted part after a trim can be recovered by tapping the Recently Deleted folder. Where is that??
I can't find it on my phone or computer Voice Memos.

Thanks for these resources, which I had already tried. So I had to call Apple to get the solution.
I had trimmed a recording and assumed that the remainder was deleted and I wanted to retrieve it. It WAS deleted - permanently. I learned that the only time a recording goes into the Recently Deleted folder is when the WHOLE recording is deleted.
I wish any of the Support pages would have said that.

None of the sites caution that the only time a recording goes into the Recently Deleted folder is when the WHOLE recording is deleted. The excess from trimmed recording cannot be retrieve it. It is deleted - permanently.
