Trying to get the Arctis Pro headset mic to work on my 2018 MacBook Pro 13'. This headset is listed in Sound>Input. But even though it's selected, no sound comes through on the input level when I speak into it. Can anybody help?

Thanks for answering. Actually headset connects by way of USB. I discovered after I posted that one needs to press the earphone volume dial firmly in to activate the mic. Nothing in the instructions or utube video help mentions this. Oh well.

Yeah.. sure.. although your 2018 has a headphone jack/socket/port the microphone arrangement is non-standard, at least on the arctis pro headphone side of things.. you’d need a trs ( female) to trrs (4 pole) adapter/cable..
