bootcamp error: not enough disk space available

So I tried downloading windows in my mid 2012 mac book pro (catalina) and I went until creating a bootable USB drive. After that it just says that I don't have enough disk space and I need atleast 42 GB no matter how many times I try it. According to the storage tab in the "about my mac" I have more that 140 GB out of 250 GB left. So I can't seem to find the problem. I tried searching it up online and I seem to have all points checked. I have a USB of more than 16 GB, my macos is up to date and I installed the latest edition of windows. Here are some pictures...
