Hey there jaamiee,
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that your AirPods are appearing as two separate devices, instead of coupling as one pair. We're happy to provide some assistance.
Did you recently replace an AirPod? If so, check out the steps outlined in this helpful article to see if it can lead to a solution: Set up your replacement AirPods or charging case
If you did not recently replace an AirPod, we'd like to have you forget both instances of the AirPods on your companion iPhone by going to Settings > Bluetooth > AirPods > Tap the 'i' > Forget this Device. Once they are both removed, follow the steps here to pair them again: Connect and use your AirPods and AirPods Pro
Reply back to this post directly, if you need continued support with this issue, after those steps.
Have a great day!
