Trying to upgrade from 10.8.5 after clean install

Hi all,

I have a MacBook Pro mid 2012, which was running Catalina , but after I added a second ssd I reformatted both drives and started fresh. I have installed 10.8.5 and updated that but there is 1 update that I can’t install, that’s the iTunes 12.4.3.

lm assumed that I can’t install Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan because of the iTunes update not installed. I keep getting the 102 error.

I just want to install Catalina again.

Any help much appreciated

Any update macOS will include the updated iTunes— I do not see this as an issue.

verify you are using the Safari browser to download/initiate the macOS links.

See the tech specs for Catalina— if you do not qualify, you may have to stair-step up one macOS to proceed to Catalina.
