Is Apple planning to introduce a multi HomePod setup for Apple TV to create a more encompassing theater experience? Adding the ability to setup a front and rear stereo pair and assign them would make the already excellent sound to a better experience with full surround sound controls for HomePod and HomePod mini
There are no public announcements to that effect, nor rumours that I've run across either.
