After transferring data from iPhone 8 to iphone10, iphone8 is still showing data transferring so keep both phones together it shall take 2 minutes, however it has taken few hours , what should I do

We understand that the data transfer process between your iPhones looks to be stalled. Were you using the Quick Start process?
Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Also, has everything moved over to the iPhone 10 and completed? If so, then it is safe to restart the iPhone 8.
