Creating Memory Movie out of shared albums

As I was amazed by the Memory Movie function on my iPhone I had the idea to create a shared album with my wife so we could make such a Memory Movie out of her and my photos+videos. But I couldn't find a way to do so. There would be the possibility to have her sending me everything with Air Drop and then make an album on my phone but then she wouldn't have the album and the Memory Movie on her phone. But that's not really the "nice and easy" way I'm looking for.

Is there any other way to do that?

Hi, on your wife’s iPhone, go to the files app and create a folder , then put all the photos, videos that you want to share in it. Press and hold the new folder icon, a pop up menu should appear with the option to share the folder. Click share folder in iCloud,Send the share invitation to you and you should be able to access the folder . When you have created the memory movie try this.

Share a Memory

Tap the For You tab, then play the Memory you want to share.
While the movie plays, tap the screen, tap , then choose how you want to share.
You should then be able to send it to your wife’s iPhone
