Option to have Siri read messages missing.

The option to have Siri announce and read messages with my AirPods is no longer even listed in notifications. How do I restore it?

thanks for replying, but I already went to that article. Below are the steps I took:

I first checked for compatible devices: I have AirPod Pros and iOS is version 14.4.2. All good.

next I went through the following steps:

  1. Open the Settings app.

Good to go.

2. Tap Notifications, then tap Announce Messages with Siri.

And that’s where I stopped because that option isn’t even on my phone (see picture)

3.Turn on Announce Messages with Siri

I can’t do that step without number 2 above.

Option to have Siri read messages missing.
