Setting Emacs alias issue in Big Sur

Since the inclusion of Emacs in MacOS was removed in Catalina, the "emacs" command is no longer a default command in the terminal.

I've tried setting an alias like this with the homebrew version of Emacs:

alias emacs='/Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/Emacs'

However, the alias does not stay after reboot. I've also tried using sudo and if i recall correctly, the alias still did not stay set.

What is the fix for this

Rename AliasBadgeIcon.icns file in Catalina I am trying to rename this file so that I can get rid of the arrows on my alias folders. I've tried all the variations--command-click, command-shift-click, etc. When I right click on the file, "Rename" does not show as one of the options. Screen shot of info window attached. When I open in Preview the file shows as locked in the bar with the file name. Any help would be appreciated!
