Importing .mxl files exported from Sibelius into Logic Pro

How do I import/open .mxl files in Logic Pro? I've gone to the File menu, selected Import as the Apple manual says, but there is no command for selecting XML or .mxl. Does the track selection matter on the opening page?

That looks really different. Do you have all Advanced Tools and Additional Options in the Preferences enabled?

BTW to avoid file corruption, use iCloud Drive or any other cloud-based service only as a transfer option. Don't save your Logic Projects directly in the cloud nor and work with Logic Projects directly in the cloud.
