Airdrop not appear on the sidebar

Hi all.

I recently do a clean install of a Big Sur on my iMac 2019. The problem I faced now that even after I toggle on the Airdrop and select everyone, my iMac is not seen from my iPhone or iPad.

I tried to reset the bluetooth module and still not working. I check the Finder preferences but can't find Airdrop on the settings.

Before in Catalina, I do have problems with the wifi where sometimes my wifi is not activated. I was hoping to fix it by install Big Sur but now, the wifi is missing at all. I toggle it on but no access point detected.

Is it possible that the wifi hardware is broken and it affect the Airdrop?

Thanks.

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 11.2

Is your wifi card being recognized by the System?

>(Option key) System Information>Network>Wifi

if not recognized then yes you have a hardware issue:

I forgot to screenshot in Big Sur but the it also shows no interface but no null inside the version.
So can I conclude that this is hardware issues?

Your wifi card is not being recognized, so yes this is a hardware issue.

Your external USB wifi dongle is a work-a-round

Ethernet is viable alternative
