Finder and Applications

When I open finder then press applications, it opens for a second then closes right away

iMac 27″, macOS 11.2

Restart your iMac in Safe Mode (How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support) and see if the problem goes away. If it does, restart in normal mode and check again. If it does not, I would suggest contacting Apple Support: Get Support
