Hello. I added a cross dissolve transition between two clips (the first clip very light in color and the second darker). Is there any way to smooth the last bit in the fade out of the first clip? The transition is very abrupt because the lighter color disappears quickly, even with a very slow transition . Thanks.
Select the lighter clip and use the brightness control (the color palette icon in the tool bar at the upper right of your screen) to make the clip a little darker. Then select the darker clip and make it a little lighter. That might smooth out the transition a bit.
If you don't want to adjust the brightness on the whole clip, you can perhaps split off the end of the first clip and the beginning of the second clip and make your adjustments only to the segments.
EDIT: If the brightness controls do not give the effect that you want, maybe adjusting the colors would work.
