1. If you connect to Wifi, doesn't necessarily mean you are connected to the internet. If you are not connected to wifi could be a problem with iPhone settings or Router/Modem Settings
2. If you are not connected to the internet is the sole issue of Router / Modem Settings. Contact your ISP immediately

I’ve updated my iPad and my iPhone, yet after downloading the update for my watch, the update will not verify. I get a message that it cannot verify due to not being connected to the internet. I deleted the update and started over, but had the same problem. My internet connection is working for all other devices.
