iWatch black screen

Watch seems to be working...receiving calls and EMERGENCY calls going out with return calls from 911 when I press the side buttons. This has happened twice so, I'm afraid to press ANY buttons. All sounds are working, just can't get rid of the 'black screen'. Any suggestions?

Note: The bottom left side of the screen cracked and for the past couple of months I was having to move selections up on the screen to activate them prior to the screen going black. Could this have anything to do with my plight of the 'black screen'?
