It says I have "No friends" and that's so sad!
I've tried this instruction from an old post, but it does nothing:
"Try deleting the account while in safe mode. If you're still unable to delete the account, try restarting normally and trying once more, as sometimes after being in safe mode and then restarting normally can resolve issues"

Game Center cannot be uninstalled, it is part of Mac OS. The same holds true for Finder, Mail, Safari, etc...

As a non-gamer (obviously), I'm not familiar with this at all. All I see on my computer is its appearance (and my absence of friends) as an Internet Account. When I click Delete I'm asked if I really want to delete it. OK is obviously the wrong answer! Friendless I remain.

I am not a gamer either, my strategy is I simply ignore the Game Center. Game Center is also on Apple TV hardware (I have several Apple TV 4K models) and I simply ignore the Game Center icon, however if it really bothered me I could hide it on my Apple TV's screen.
Safe mode is started holding the shift key at startup.
