Hello ejthekidd,

Congratulations on your AirPods Pro! We understand you aren't seeing a setup animation on your iPhone. Instead, you're only seeing a green flash when you take the AirPods out of the charging case.

To start, we'd recommend making sure your iPhone is up to date. We've recently released iOS version 14.5. If an update is needed, please be sure to create a current backup prior to updating. These links can help:

Once you've confirmed your iPhone is up to date, please see the steps on how to Connect and use your AirPods and AirPods Pro.

If you're still unable to connect, please see what to do If your AirPods won't connect.

If you're using an Android device or other non-Apple device, please see how to Set up AirPods with Mac and other Bluetooth devices.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Cheers!

ejthekidd,

To determine how to proceed, can you tell us which device you're trying to pair with your AirPods Pro? If you're trying to pair with an iPhone, can you also provide us with the exact iOS version you're using? You can find the iOS version by going to Settings > General > About.

In regards to the status lights you're seeing, a flashing white light indicates your AirPods Pro are in setup mode. A steady green light indicates your AirPods Pro are charged.

If you're seeing a flashing amber light, this indicates the AirPods Pro in the case aren't connected to each other.

In addition to letting us know which device you're trying to pair your AirPods Pro with, can you also tell us if you're able to pair your AirPods Pro with a different device, or if you're able to pair a different Bluetooth device with the device you're trying to use with your AirPods Pro?

If you're using an iPhone and you can't connect any Bluetooth accessory, please see the steps on what to do If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you're using an iPhone with a case, we'd also recommend removing the case during the setup process to see if this helps.

Thanks!
