Wired CarPlay audio

Just bought an iPhone 12 Pro Max and made all updates till iOS 14.5…audio quality while driving via Bluetooth is perfect ..when I used wired connection for CarPlay …sounds turn TERRIBLE …even the worst radio signal is better than that …tried like 5 usb cables …same issue …I’m really disappointed my cheap android was way better in sound quality with android auto …What to do ?

CarPlay Audio automatically switching CarPlay recently began switching the audio source to my iPhone when I connect it to my Honda CR-V, which I don't want it to do. Even though I'd been listening to satellite radio previously, as soon as I connect my iPhone to my car, the audio input switches to the phone, which has no audio playing. This never used to happen until about 2-3 weeks ago. I'm running iOS 13.7 on my iPhone. I primarily use CarPlay so I can use Waze for navigation, which I've been using since 2008, and prefer to any other GPS maps system. On occasion, I'll use my iPhone for audio, too, but would prefer that it not usurp the audio input when I plug it in. There doesn't seem to be a setting for this. Any ideas as to why this is happening, and how I might correct it? Thanks!

Alpine iLX-W650e CarPlay and iPhone 11/6/5s I installed an alpine iLX-w650e into my 150 Toyota Prado late last year and have issues with Apple CarPlay. I can connect my iPhone 11 via CarPlay and have issue with terrible static when on a phone call and the person on the other end can barely hear me. When also on a call and if I receive a text message the notification sound is all distorted and the notification on the alpine screen is all glitchy. I have also connected iPhone 6 and 5s and it doesn’t work properly. The alpine screen is very slow and doesn’t work. if I hook the iPhones up to Bluetooth it all works perfectly. I haven’t tried any other iPhones nor any android phones (to try android auto) but CarPlay says it’s compatible from iPhone 5.

My Carplay Multi-Media has stopped working!! My carplay Multi-Media has stopped working! Why has Apple (some update) ruined my iPhone’s ability to play Apple Music through my 2011 Venza’s radio system? It was working just fine until recently. I have an iPhone Pro Max. The car shows that it is playing but NO SOUND comes out?! It also shows it is playing on the iPhone and there is no sound there, either.
