Apple care apple repair

I purchased this ipad in December 2020 but I didn’t buy the apple care within. But today, I accidentally stuck it in my bicycle and it got stuck in middle of the wheel. And i take out it but it got flourished in the middle and didn’t crack. Does is fixable? ( its still running, about the system theres no problem) i added the photo in down there

second, about the apple care, can i still buy a apple care after a 5 months in use? Or there’s any other way to protect My iPad?
