MacOS 11.3 error: "This Mac requires Magic Keyboard to make purchases using Apple Pay"

Since updating to 11.3 Apple Pay has been disabled on my M1 Mac Mini. I have two Apple Watches registered on the Mac, and my iPhone has the "allow payments on Mac" turned on.

I got an initial notification that someone else had registered Apple Pay on this mac - but that is incorrect, there is only one user (Guest user is also off).

I actually have a magic keyboard attached, but not one with Touch ID of course, since you can't get that yet.

Hey IanBlackburn,

We see that you're getting a message saying "Apple Pay is not available on this Mac". If you haven't already, we suggest starting with powering on the Mac and then powering it back on: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac

If you continue to see this message and/or the one stating Apple Pay has already been registered, click Apple menu > System Preferences > Wallet & Apple Pay. Afterward, look for a prompt asking you to reset Apple Pay.

Use Apple Pay on your Mac
