Printing from iphone - message indicates printer is offline when it isn’t

Hi - my iPhone 12 Pro and my wife’s iphone 11, when trying to print to my wireless printer, will try and connect but will then inform me it is not online. It is.

I can generally reconnect by rebooting router, switching off and on printer and iphone. My wife however can not connect, and has not been able to do so for a week or so now.

how can I resolve?

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14
