The new Apple Pencil is HORRIBLE

I recently got the newest iPad (5th gen) and pencil because I was using the 2nd gen iPad for the last 5 years and needed an upgrade. The new pencil is absolutely horrible. I use my iPad primarily for art and my business has been completely stunted because the pencil simply does not function properly. It begins to draw when hovering above the screen, causing stray lines everywhere. Also it cuts out during lines and makes for really skippy and uneven line work. Ive spent weeks going over troubleshooting with Apple and searching the internet for issues and fixes, and nothing has worked. I’ve even ordered replacement tips. Nothing fixes these issues. When searching the internet it’s apparent tons of people have the same exact issues and Apple has no fix available. I never had any of these issues with the first gen pencil, it worked flawlessly. I know it’s not the procreate app because I’ve tried notepad and Adobe draw and both experience the same exact issues. The pencil draws while hovering and cuts out frequently between lines. I regret trading in my old iPad for this new one so much because I haven’t been able to complete an art project in 2 months. Apple needs to issue a fix for these issues immediately. There’s also no option for Apple Pencil when posting so I’ve put this in the iPad topic.
