How do I switch back to the older version?

How do I switch back to the older version? I have an iPhone 6 that won’t upgrade and that’s what I really need the app on. I upgraded my iPad thinking it wouldn’t affect my phone, but it did. I’ve looked for another app, but there’s not one I like as well

There was a warning and an option not to upgrade Reminders when installing iOS13. Read this support article about what has happened and your current options:

Get ready for the new Reminders app - https://support.apple.com/HT210220

"You can always see your reminders on a Mac or PC by signing in to iCloud.com with a compatible web browser."

The only real solution now is to upgrade all your other systems to support the new Reminders format. You cannot downgrade iOS so unfortunately your iPhone 6 is now left behind.
