Connection problem - unlocking face id with apple watch

Hi, I am not able to enable this option as i am having an error message about a connection problem between my watch and the phone.

Face ID not opening Apple Watch Series 3 Hello there, I recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 to an 11 Pro Max (yeah!) However, when I open my phone with Face ID, my watch doesn’t unlock. (When I used Touch ID on my iPhone 7, the watch used to unlock) Can this be sorted out please or is it a fault? Everything else is working on both and my watch IS paired with my new phone. Thanks.

Hi , try to unpair the watch and then connect again .Let me know :)
